Golden Retriever Paint by Numbers Kit | Dog Paint by Numbers for Adults | Watercolour Sunflower Dog Canvas Art

This paint by numbers kit captures a golden retriever at its most joyful. The dog sits front and centre, tongue out and ears lifted, surrounded by a burst of sunflowers and framed by loose watercolour splashes of cobalt blue and warm yellow. It is the kind of painting that makes people smile before they have even picked up a brush.

The watercolour-inspired style keeps the colour zones soft and organic, so the finished painting looks like a real piece of art rather than a numbered canvas filled in by a beginner. Every section is pre-printed and pre-numbered. All the paints are pre-mixed. Open the box, match the numbers, and paint.

How to Paint Your Golden Retriever Kit

1. Unbox and set up — Lay your canvas flat, open your paints, and keep the colour reference guide beside you as you work.
2. Start with the background — Fill in the white areas and the loose blue watercolour sky wash first.
3. Paint the sunflowers — Work through the yellow petals and dark centres in the lower half of the canvas.
4. Build the dog's coat — The golden retriever's fur moves from warm golden tones at the edges to lighter cream highlights in the centre.
5. Finish with the face details — The eyes, nose, mouth and tongue are the focal point. Take your time with the fine brush here.
6. Apply a second coat where needed — Pale yellow petals and the lighter fur highlights may need two thin coats for clean, solid coverage.
