Majestic Lion Sunset Mountain Paint by Numbers Kit | Wildlife Animal Paint by Numbers for Adults

He gazes upward and to one side, his expression carrying the calm authority of something that has never feared anything. His mane flows in dark layers of auburn, gold, and blue-black, framing a face of extraordinary painterly detail. Behind him, a blazing sunset turns the sky to fire — deep orange fading to gold, with a white sun disc burning on the horizon. Snow-capped mountains rise in the middle distance. Dark autumn trees overhang from above, and pink and red blossom flowers scatter across the lower foreground. The Majestic Lion Sunset Mountain Paint by Numbers Kit is one of the most dramatic and cinematic wildlife designs in the collection, and a genuinely powerful finished piece of wall art.

How to Paint This Majestic Lion Kit

1. Identify your main colour zones — Group into: sunset sky (amber, burnt orange, gold, white sun); mountains (cool blue-grey, white); dark upper trees and foliage (near-black, deep brown, red); lion face and mane (warm auburn, gold, blue-black, cream); flowers (pink, magenta, red).
2. Paint the blazing sky first — The fiery amber and orange sunset sky fills much of the background. Work across the colour gradients from the sun outward and let this dry fully before painting the mountains and trees in front of it.
3. Add the mountains and dark trees — The cool blue-grey mountain peaks contrast dramatically with the warm sky behind them. Work through these and the dark overhanging tree branches next to establish the frame of the composition.
4. Paint the lion's mane and face — The rich layered mane and detailed face are the heart of this design. Work through the deep auburn outer mane, the warm golden inner layers, and the fine facial detail with your fine brush for the most rewarding result.
5. Finish with the flower foreground — The pink and magenta blossom flowers scattered across the lower canvas are the final touch. These vibrant foreground details complete the cinematic, layered quality of the whole composition.
